In the context of the MLS:
- the offer of compensation is the flow of money from the listing broker to the buyer broker; it’s broker to broker
- a concession is when the seller concedes something to the buyer, as in the credit to buyer of all or a portion of repairs, new roof, title insurance, buyer broker fee; it’s seller to buyer
